Payment: All orders are on a certified check/money order basis. Mastercard/Visa/Discover/Amex are accepted and preferred.
Personal Checks: Orders prepaid by personal check must allow 14 days for bank clearance. Please make an effort to pay by Mastercard, Visa, certified check or money order, or simply have the order sent C.O.D.
Sales Tax: Shipments within California add 8.25% sales tax. No tax on shipments outside of California.
Delivery: All orders will be shipped via United Parcel Service, unless otherwise requested, or where weight and/or size is prohibited by UPS.
Minimum Orders: Precision Proformance has no minimum order. A service charge of $5.00 will be added to orders under $20.00 to cover processing costs.
Special/Custom Order Parts: Special and/or custom order parts require a 50% deposit to start. Once completed, all items must be paid in full prior to shipment. Due to the nature of the use of Pantera's and its exclusivity (as well as the hand built nature of the automobile) special order items are not returnable. Special orders and custom made items made specifically for your vehicle may not be returned under any circumstances. Examples of special/custom order items would be color matched items (items painted, interior items such as floor mats and upholstery), wheel and tire packages (all wheels are considered custom made to order), racing accessories (such as roll bars, fire systems, restraint systems), custom made headers and exhaust systems, fiberglass and body panels (all panels will require prep and/or fitting prior to installation) or any item made custom to your specifications which varies from our normal manufacturing specifications. Please inquire about whether the parts you are ordering are considered special or custom.
Returns: No returns will be accepted without prior authorization. No returns on any electrical parts or special order/custom parts. All returns subject to 25% restocking fee. All returns must be prepaid and accompanied by a copy of our original invoice, no returns after 30 days will be accepted for any reason. Shortages and discrepancies must be reported within five days of the invoice date, no exceptions. Any orders placed without part numbers are subject to a 25% restocking charge. PLEASE USE PART NUMBERS. ALL REFUNDS will be credited to your Precision Proformance account as credit only. All sales are final on custom parts made and ordered.
Back Orders: Canceled unless "backorder accepted" is on file. See invoice for any special instructions.
Returned Checks: A minimum $25.00 fee will be charged for each returned check. Maximum fees will be determined by bank charges. Customers with returned checks are automatically placed on a cash or certified check only basis.
Freight: Precision Proformance ships all merchandise via UPS ground freight, unless the item is too large, or other shipping means are requested. Orders too large for UPS will be shipped via truck freight. Please be advised that truck freight usually incurs additional handling and packaging charges. All orders refused will be charged all freight charges, plus an addition to a 25% stocking fee.
Damages: All goods are carefully packed and in good condition when shipped. Any claims for damaged goods must be made with the carrier. Damaged or shortages received through UPS must be reported the same day. The original box must be kept for UPS to inspect. UPS nor Precision ProFormance will not honor any claim without original box and packing materials. Parts must be returned as received.
Catalog Contents: It is impossible to list all of the items we carry in stock, and we are continually adding new lines. Call, write or e-mail for price quotes on parts you might need that are not represented in our catalog/price list. Chances are that we have the part or can get it for you. Some parts listed were without prices at press time. Please call for these prices. Items marked "discontinued" but still have prices may still be available. Inquire!
Foreign Purchases: Policy requires that payment in full be received in U.S. funds prior to shipment. Foreign currency and checks are not accepted. There is no C.O.D. service offered for shipments outside the continental United States.
Pricing: Due to fluctuating values in world-wide currency, prices in this catalog are subject to change without notice. If price is of primary concern, please inquire, with part number, at time of order.
Warranty: Precision Proformance will repair or replace free of charge any items that fail within 60 days of purchase due to defects in materials or workmanship, on products manufactured by Precision Proformance except custom order and racing items. Subject parts shall be returned prepaid to Precision Proformance for evaluation and inspection. This warranty becomes invalid when items in question have been improperly installed or applied, or when subject to accident or competitive (i.e. racing) events. We neither request or authorize any firm or persons to assume any liability in connection with the sale or use of Precision Proformance or its products. Items not manufactured by Precision Proformance are warranted in accordance with each individual manufacturer's own warranty. No additional warranty is expressed or implied. Precision Proformance shall not be liable for any damages to persons or property resulting from the sale or use of merchandise by dealer or consumer. In addition, Precision Proformance shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages. All items sold are considered for off road use, and use of products should be held in this regard.
Note: Warranty policy is set up by the specific manufacturer and not Precision Proformance. Most manufacturers now require warranty claims to be made directly to the factory. We do not have authority to supersede such policy. All brake, wheel and suspension components are manufactured for off road use and may not be D.O.T. approved. The purchaser is responsible for determining the suitability of any and all products purchased from Precision Proformance.
New Products: If you do not see a product in our catalog, ask about it. Chances are we can probably get it for you. Call for the "best" price.
